How fares work in Zwickau

Official meter tariff

Fares are set by the district authority, not by the driver. The base fare is 5.00 € by day, 5.50 € at night, plus 3.50 € for each of the first three kilometres.

No surge pricing

There is no extra charge for rain, rush hour or high demand. The calibrated taximeter shows the same tariff at all times.

Fixed price from 50 km

For journeys of 50 kilometres or more we may agree a fixed price in advance, for example to an airport. Shorter trips always run on the meter.

Up to eight passengers
